What is the process to having an Aesthetic treatment?1) Make an enquiry on our booking page. 2) We'll make contact to begin to discuss what you're looking to achieve and arrange a consultation and appointment. Please note: A booking fee is payable at the time of booking to secure your appointment slot. 3) At the consultation, we'll talk through this in more detail, any risks, manage expectations and explore your medical history and any possible additional risk factors. 4) We will send you electronic consent forms to complete ahead of treatment. 5) At the time of the treatment, we'll recap, check for any changes and then administer your treatment! We can book in a follow up appointment, around two weeks after to review. At this point, we hope you'll be thrilled by your results 🎉. Things to note: Sometimes for anti wrinkle injections,(this is especially more common when you're a first time client, whilst we get to know your face and doses), you may need a small 'top-up' - this is included at no extra charge. The 'top-up' is given as clinically indicated as part of the review. For anti wrinkle injections, this must be highlighted within 21 days of the initial treatment. If raised after this, a further, chargeable appointment would be required.

What if something goes wrong? These are aesthetics procedures and whilst every step is made to limit risk, some risks do remain. These will be discussed in detail at the consultation and again before treatment. As a registered medical professional, Linzi has undertaken extensive training and worked in multiple NHS roles, managing complex situations. In addition, Linzi has undertaken (and continues to undertake) specific aesthetics training to work specifically in this field. As a competent nurse, she can support during and post treatment with any queries or concerns.
-
How long have you been doing this?Linzi is a fully qualified nurse still working in the NHS as a senior operations leader. Skin Alchemy Aesthetics was created in 2023 so she could offer clinically sound Aesthetics to clients looking for quality over cost.
-

This remains true with Skin Alchemy Aesthetics also. If you have any serious concerns or anxiety please feel free to email Linzi with your questions and she will do her best to alleviate any worries.

Why do I need a consultation?A face to face consultation, is a legal requirement for the administration of prescription only medications (i.e. botulinum toxin treatments). Not only does the consultation appointment ensure we are compliant with legal requirements but it also gives us the opportunity to meet, review and address any concerns, plan your treatment and work towards achieving your desired results, whilst allowing discussion, reassurance and management of expectations.
-
Do I need a consultation for dermal fillers? It is strongly recommended, so we can discuss what you're looking to achieve and then follow up with a subsequent treatment. This gives time to ensure you are comfortable, confident and happy with what has been discussed and the up coming procedure.
-
Why is there a charge for the consultation? The consultation charge is a booking fee, which covers associated costs of the consultation and ordering of product for follow up treatment. The charge is fully redeemable against follow up treatments (for example, 3 areas of anti wrinkle injections would be £40 consultation fee and then £180, payable at the treatment appointment. You may cancel your booking, up to 48 hours before the consultation and receive the booking fee back in full. If you cancel in the 48 hour period leading up to the consultation, you will be refunded 50 % of the booking fee. If you cancel on the day of your consultation, do not turn up etc., the booking fee is non-refundable. If you attend the consultation and then decide not to proceed with treatment, the booking fee is not refundable. We feel so confident with our service and standard of treatments, that we feel this is unlikely to be an issue! However, should you have any concerns, queries or questions ahead of your consultation or treatment with us, please get in contact.
